Landscape Inventions with Neil McGregor

Neil trained at Norwich School of Art over 25 years ago, and since that time has worked as a practising artist, lecturer and museum curator.
He has a particular interest in painting and drawing techniques, specifically the techniques employed during the 18th century by artists like Gainsborough and Hogarth.
This workshop will be looking at techniques used by 18th century painters including Thomas Gainsborough to generate landscape images. The session will use techniques like ink blots, rubbings and and vegetables to generate landscape compositions.
