What we did on our (Bank) Holidays

It's great to report that the good weather finally arrived in time for the May Bank Holiday.   Hopefully you've all been enjoying the last few days and  found the time to get out and be creative or go along to some of the many local events and exhibitions.

Among the events on offer this past weekend,  the Stillingfleet Scarecrow festival took place on Sunday 5th at the village institute, accompanied by stalls and refreshments and an archaeological display in the local church.  The charming character below is the scarecrow designed by YAS' own Judith Pollock.

Here on the blog we'd love to hear of any member's May artistic endeavours or reviews of any exhibitions or events you've attended recently.   Send them in by email or catch Chris or Tony at the next meeting.
