July Demonstration - Trevor Lingard

The July meeting of York Art Society takes place next Saturday, July 13th, and features a water colour demonstration by Trevor Lingard.

This is a return visit from a popular artist who was very well received last summer.  A professional artist and tutor, Trevor was born in Accrington and now lives in the historic witch country of Pendle Hill by the Ribble Valley.  His works are characterised by an immediacy that derives from an economy of detail and a restricted palette

Samples can be found at his own site and he also has a number of instructional videos on YouTube.  Simply search on Trevor Lingard from the YouTube home page or click the following link

The demonstration starts at 2:00pm at the usual venue Christchurch Hall, Stockton Lane, York. Entry is free for members and £5 for guests.  See our Demonstrations page for more details.
