Angela McCall, president of York Art Society, will be delivering a workshop on floral watercolour on Saturday 2nd November. This will take place at the usual venue of Christchurch Hall on Stockton Lane.
The workshop aims to develop confidence by encouraging an imaginative, expressive, semi abstract and fluid approach to floral subjects. Angela will be using watercolour but also perhaps introducing oil pastels, acrylic inks and white gouache to the mix.
This is open to all members but places are limited to the first 20 applicants. . The cost is £23 and participants should bring their own materials including big brushes, mixing palettes and big sheets of paper (not less than 20" x 16").
Remember there's only room for 20 students and it looks like being a very popular event so apply as soon as possible if you wish to secure a place. You can download an application form here or email email@example.com to request one - put 'Floral Workshop' in the subject line.
