Final Week of the Mermaid & Miller Exhibition

Just a reminder that this is the final week of the Roger Baker, June Whittaker and Lin Taylor exhibition at Mermaid & Miller.  If you haven't been already it's well worth a visit.

This has been a great showcase for our three colleagues and we're pleased to report they've had some pleasing sales through the month.

Mermaid & Miller is a great little shop that supports local workers and is always worth a visit.  What will they be doing in April ?  Check back here soon to find out.

York Open Studios

This year’s Launch Exhibition for the York Open Studios takes place at the Blossom Street Gallery, just outside Micklegate Bar, at no. 2 Blossom Street, York, YO24 1AE.

It is part of the Yorkshire Grand Départ Cultural Festival, but don’t worry if bikes aren’t your thing, the exhibition is a celebration of Yorkshire by York Artists, not just a celebration of the world’s largest annual sporting event.

The exhibition runs from 18th March to 13th April.  Tue – Sat 9.30 - 5.30, Sun 10.00 – 3.00

Julie Lightburn from the York Art Society is taking part in this year’s York Open Studios and has a painting in the Launch Exhibition.

More news on York Open Studios can be found on the official site, where you can also view a map of the venues and download a program of participating artists.
