First Day Sales at Exhibition

Our 199th Exhibition opened to the public this morning, bringing a steady stream of visitors to the De Grey Rooms. Sales were particularly brisk on the afernoon with over £600 taken for original art, cards and prints.

Thanks to everyone who went along today to help out - and special thanks to Bernadette and June for pulling a double shift to cover the afternoon.

We're still desperately in need of volounteers for stewarding this week - especially for the afternoon slots. We urgently require additional stewards for the Friday 3pm to 5pm slot and have no volounteers at all for 3pm to 5pm Saturday or 10am to 12pm Sunday. We urgently require three people for each slot.

The De Grey Rooms are a great venue and these last two exhibitions have been a major step forward for the society - but all of the work is pulled together by volunteers to make such events possible. So, if you're exhibiting and haven't signed up to the steward's rota yet, or if you just want to give something back to the Society, think about stewarding for a couple of hours towards the end of this week

To volunteer email Shannon elizabeth_morgan1@hotmail.com or Tony tony.howson@crazedchimp.co.uk
