Work by Phil Hart

With a few bank holidays looming, a timely reminder that Phil Hart currently has work on show in several places around the city.

A selection of Phil's early work is on display at the Harlequin Attic Gallery until 5th May. This is a busy little venue with huge footfall during the week.  It's a great place to show paintings and Phil tells us they're always looking for new artists,  http://www.harlequinyork.com/

More work can be found at Brick Lane Studios, just a couple of shops down from Barnitts. Again, they are always on the lookout for any pictures of York which are different from the traditional postcard images - particularly ones of high quality that can be copied and sold as prints. http://www.bricklanestudiosyork.co.uk/about-us

Phil also has a permanent display at Kafeneion, just opposite Cross Keys on Goodramgate. Drop in for the art and stay for the speciality cakes!  http://www.kafeneion.co.uk/

  2. Hi Gwen - you can contact the society by emailing us at yorkartsociety@yahoo.co.uk and we'll pass that on to the artist that you're interested in.
