Friday at St Michael le Belfrey

A steady start to the first day of the exhibition at St Michael le Belfrey with a great variety of artistic styles on show.  Lin Taylor's bird feather paintings continued to be popular and several large canvases were sold by Fred Corrigan.

Music was provided throughout the day by Rachel Dawick, the daughter of exhibiting artist John Dawick. Playing guitar and singing beautifully to her own compositions, Rachel performed both inside and outside the venue.

Across the road, our neighbours at York Minster were hosting a service for the Royal Dragoon Guards as part of the First World War commemorations.

The exhibition, which is helping raise funds for homeless charity The Never Give Up Group, continues for a second day on Saturday August 16th
