There was a bumper turnout at the latest York Art Society demonstration, featuring published artist Charles Evans who created not one but two watercolours in the afternoon. As if this wasn't enough, Charles also shared his tips and techniques for painting sheep, birds and people using basic shapes and letters. Who would have thought that a flying goose can be created by the shape of a loaf of bread! Or a seagull consisting of a "tick with a stick"! Thank you to Charles for sharing his passion with us in a fun and engaging manner.
