We're hanging the exhibition on Friday 30th June and there will be an exhibition preview that same evening from 6 - 8pm and all are welcome to come along.

Sue Ford Workshop

Our recent Sue Ford Collage Workshop on 3rd June was a great success.

13 members turned up laden with magazines and acrylic paints and were guided through the process of creating a collage painting with Sue's expert advice. Not much talking took place as we were all out of our comfort zone and all that could be heard was the ripping of magazines. Time passed so quickly and in our enthusiasm, some of us missed a proper lunch break.

Thank you to the members that took part in The Challenge!

Some great pieces were produced.  Not all were finished on the day, but hopefully we will see some of them as completed work in the next exhibition at the Medical Rooms in September.

If you wish to see more of Sue's own work, she will be exhibiting at The Danby Moors Centre National Park, between June 29th and July 25th. Open daily 10 to 4pm

AGM and Print Critique

Just a reminder that there is the AGM this Saturday at 2pm, followed by a print critique of your work.

Please bring a maximum of two paintings (they don't have to be finished works) to enable artist Robert Brindley to give you some supportive feedback.

The newsletter will also be available to collect (in order to save on postage stamps!).

Thank you.
