Exhibitions


Bloomin’ Art - an art exhibition at the Village Gallery, featuring early 20th Century to contemporary works of art, ceramics, glass and jewellery, all with a floral theme. YAS member Julie Lightburn is one of the featured artists. 

The Village Gallery is at the Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma-Gate end of Colliergate, across the road from Barnitts, and is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am – 5pm. The exhibition runs from 3rd - 14th July. 

The exhibition is part of the Bloom festival. A full list of events can be found on the festival website www.bloomyork.com, or you can pick your 80 page directory from the Tourist Information Centre.

Julie is also currently working on a collection of paintings for the Small-Scale Collectables exhibition at the Inspired by . . . . gallery, at The Moors National Park Centre, Danby, YO21 2NB.  The exhibition is open daily between 19th July and 28thAugust.  All of the small framed paintings are priced at just £50.
 
Entry to both exhibitions is Free of charge.
